Category: FASTLOCK CONNECTION
Notes:
The fittings of the 39000 series allow the safe connection of thin-thickness pipes ensuring the pressure seal of the system. Thanks to the innovative connection system, the 39000 series fittings also allow you to completely avoid welding the pipes. The operating priN.C.iple of 39000 series fittings is as follows: A stainless steel reinforcing bush is inserted in the internal diameter of the pipe to be connected, with an AST THROAT (anti-slipping pipe) on the external surface. On the external diameter of the pipe to be connected, the nut, the spinner and the sealing O-ring are positioned in the order and the pipe is inserted into the seat provided on the fitting body. By screwing the nut, according to the tightening torque for each tube size, the spinner moves until it hits the end of the fitting body and pushes the O-ring into the sealing seat. ON.C.e in contact, under the effect of tightening the nut, the ogive is deformed by cutting the outer diameter of the tube in correspondeN.C.e with the AST groove and deforming the tube until it seats on the diameter of the AST groove itself. The O-ring guarantees the pressure seal of the fitting and the deformation of the spinner and by combining with AST groove on the reinforcement bush, it allows the tube to be held in the fitting body.
The fittings of 39000 series are designed to be installed on refrigeration and air-conditioning systems using refrigerants of group II, as defined in Article 13, Chapter 1, Point b of Directive 2014/68/EU, with reference to EC Regulation No. 1272/2008. Group II include all refrigerants classified as A1 in annex E of EN 378-1:2008 standard.
