Notes:
The 40000 series valves are safety accessories as defined in Article 2 point 4 of Directive 2014/68 / EU and are the subject of Article 4, point 1 paragraph d of the same Directive. These are conventional unbalaN.C.ed direct discharge devices. The valve opens when the thrust of the pressurized fluid overcomes the force of the calibration spring which counteracts the rise of the shutter. After intervening to protect the system, the safety valves of the 40000 and 41000 series must be replaced. After the intervention, the valves no longer have the original calibration conditions and cannot guarantee the safety of the system.
RELIABLE: the PTFE gasket does not stick to its seat and maintains the calibration of the device over time SAFE: they are 100% tested on a dedicated helium system Upon calibration, the ring nut maintains its position by applying a high-mechanical strength, low-viscosity lock compound on the threads to ensure proper penetration The valve is sealed by a cap that is locked in position ion by coining the valve body and hence calibration cannot be altered in any way.
Protection against possible overpressures compared to the design parameters set for refrigeration systems, heat pumps (capacitors, compressor flow circuits, heat exchangers) and simple pressure vessels (to EN378-2:2008, 87/404/EEC Directive). Fluids: Group 2 refrigerant fluids in the physical state of vapour or gas (2014/68/EU Directive, Article 13, point 1,subsection b) and air or nitrogen (87/404/CEE Directive).
The main construction components of the safety valves in the 40000 series are:
