The expansion valve is a lamination device that is interposed between the condenser and the evaporator. Inlet side, we find the liquid refrigerant, which by passing through the nozzle generates a pressure drop, before entering the evaporator. The opening / closing of the valve must be done by a programmable electronic device that regulates it according to the "PULSE WIDHT MODULATION" (PWM) method. The use of the electronic regulator allows you to optimize the overall performance of the machine, improving the evaporator performances when the load conditions vary.
The solenoid expansion valve in the series 44000 are designed to be installed on refrigeration and
air-conditioning system for domestic and industrial use. It’s possible to use them with all the refrigerant
fluids of goup 2 of Art.13, Chapter 1, point A or B, of Euopean Directive 2014/68/EU, with reference to
EC Regulation no. 1272/2008.
Some typical applications are:
The main components of the solenoid expansion valves in the
series 44000 are:
Before installing the expansion valve, make sure the refrigeration system is properly clean, though any impurities are intercepted by the filter mounted inside it. An excessive amount of impurities could partially of fully clog the filter, thus reducing its overall performance. The expansion valve can be mounted in all positions, though it is preferable to keep the axis at a right angle with the coil at the top. The direction of the arrow stamped on the valve body must coincide with the direction of flow of the fluid inside the system. Braze welding between the copper pipes and the valve body is performed using low-temperature melting alloys and the presence of seals requires the fitter to pay particular attention in avoiding to direct the flame towards the valve body and sealing areas in general.
