The changeover series 42000 is used as service device to mount 2 safety valves with a single operation, on the system so as to speed up maintenance and replacement of the valve when one of the two is used.

The changeover of the 42000 series are used as service taps for a pair of safety valves and allow you to keep one valve connected to the system by isolating the other. In this way, the user can perform maintenance on the isolated valve for periodic verification or replacement, keeping at least one valve always operational for the safety of the system.

The main components of the changeover valves in the 42000 series are:

  • Body made of hot-forged brass to EN12165-CW617N
  • AISI 303 stainless steel control lever 
  • Sealing gaskets made of HNBR and Neoprene
  • Cap protecting the AVP steel lever, with galvanized protective coating, complete with sealing gasket
  • Austenitic stainless steel for the screws securing the two parts of the body of the faucet
  • Threaded revolving ports for connecting the safety valves to the AVP steel spare changeover faucet, with galvanized protective coating
