Category: TRADITIONAL REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS
Ways: 2/2 N.C.
Notes:
The EXPANSIONTECH
solenoid 2/2-way N.C. expansion valve – Series 44000 is designed for
professional A1 refrigeration systems, where precision, inspectability, and
modularity are essential.
The yellow brass body is paired with a stainless
steel AISI 304 tube, laser-welded in-house by OLAB on a dedicated line to
ensure perfect sealing and superior long-term durability.
This valve
features a removable and interchangeable stainless steel DN insert,
compatible with the full range of available diameters, offering total
flexibility during installation or maintenance. An inspectable internal
stainless steel filter ensures optimal circuit cleanliness by blocking even
the smallest impurities.
The sealing system combines PTFE and dual NBR
O-rings, with strategic points of sealing between the body and nozzle, and
between the body and tube. The 10000BHL
coil (36 mm ø14 mm), rated for insulation class H (180°C), includes
a double O-ring configuration to ensure excellent thermal isolation. The
IP67 protection rating, backed by UL International certification,
confirms complete resistance to moisture and dust, guaranteeing reliable
performance even in harsh environments.
Each valve
in the Series 44000 undergoes 100% helium leak testing, and laser
marking of the date and serial number provides lifetime traceability
of the tested performance.
Operating
between –40°C and +100°C (–40°F ÷ +212°F) and withstanding pressures up
to 52 bar (754 psi), the EXPANSIONTECH valve meets the needs of
high-performance, professional-grade refrigeration systems. Fully
certified CE, IP67, and UL.
Technical features:
COMPATIBLE A1 REFRIGERANT GASES
HFC, HFO e miscele HFO/HFC: R404A, R407C, R410A, R507, R32, R134a
HFO e miscele HFO/HFC: R1234ze, R448A, R449A, R450A, R452A, R1234yf, R1233zd
DOUBLE NBR O-RING
Guaranteed sealing between both the body and the nozzle, and the body and the tube.
MAXIMUM COIL INSULATION
Achieved with the addition of two O-Rings, one on top and one below.
IP67
Engineered for maximum moisture protection and long-lasting durability.
INTERCHANGEABLE STAINLESS STEEL DN INSERT
Removable and reinstallable, compatible with the entire range of available DN sizes.
MAXIMUM CLEANLINESS
Thanks to the integrated (inspectable) filter, which blocks even the smallest impurities from entering the circuit.
AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL SLEEVE
Laser-welded in-house at OLAB with a dedicated system, ensuring perfect welds for long-lasting performance and durability.
100% HELIUM TESTED
Each valve is individually tested with pure helium in a dedicated facility. Laser-engraved date and serial number ensure lifetime traceability of recorded performance data.
Before installing the expansion valve, make sure the refrigeration system is properly clean, though any impurities are intercepted by the filter mounted inside it. An excessive amount of impurities could partially of fully clog the filter, thus reducing its overall performance. The expansion valve can be mounted in all positions, though it is preferable to keep the axis at a right angle with the coil at the top. The direction of the arrow stamped on the valve body must coincide with the direction of flow of the fluid inside the system. Braze welding between the copper pipes and the valve body is performed using low-temperature melting alloys and the presence of seals requires the fitter to pay particular attention in avoiding to direct the flame towards the valve body and sealing areas in general.
