The Series 42000 changeover valve is specifically designed to ensure safe operation, continuous system availability, and easy maintenance in professional refrigeration systems using A1-class refrigerants. Its primary function is to switch between dual safety valves, allowing maintenance on one valve while the other remains active, without requiring the system to be depressurized.

The valve body is made from hot-forged brass EN 12165-CW617N, ensuring superior mechanical resistance and long-lasting durability. The control stem, in AISI 303 stainless steel, is sealed by a galvanized AVP steel threaded cap, equipped with a neoprene gasket to protect internal components from external contamination and moisture. The sealing system includes NBR gaskets, providing reliable tightness under varying thermal and mechanical conditions.
A double O-ring between the two body halves ensures zero leakage, while austenitic stainless steel screws provide secure and stable closure.

The rotating NPT-threaded fittings, made from galvanized AVP steel, are designed for direct connection with OLAB Series 42100 and 42200 safety valves, ensuring full mechanical and functional compatibility.
This valve is built to withstand operating pressures up to 80 bar (1160 psi) and functions reliably over a temperature range of –35°C to +105°C (–31°F to +221°F), making it ideal for systems with significant thermal variation. Each unit undergoes 100% helium leak testing in a sealed test chamber. It is then laser-engraved with a serial number and date to ensure permanent traceability and certified performance.

The Series 42000 changeover valve is CE-marked in compliance with Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) and is fully aligned with EN 378 requirements, offering the perfect solution for high-reliability A1 refrigerant systems.

Our Neoprene compound gaskets have been designed and produced to be compatible with group A1 refrigerant gases (as defined in ASHRAE standard 34).However, in consideration of the infinite application variables (pressure, temperature and mixing percentages), an application check on the system is always required.

SAFE
