Category: INDIRECT AND MIXED ACTION SOLENOID VALVES
Ways: 2/2
Notes:
The Series
18501 is a 2/2-way normally open indirect acting solenoid valve,
specifically designed for professional hydraulic applications requiring high
reliability, durability, and continuous operation under demanding
conditions.
Its inspectable configuration allows for quick, targeted
maintenance without removing the valve from the system, helping to minimize
downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
The
internal structure features a sleeve in AISI 304 stainless steel with a
laser-welded fixed core, combined with a CW510L-OT57 brass body
compliant with NSF USA standards, ensuring high compatibility with
potable water and technical fluids. The pilot-operated mechanism
allows the valve to manage significant pressure differentials, even with
large internal orifices, delivering smooth and stable operation without
water hammer.
Equipped
with a 30 mm coil (8000BH) and a 14 mm bore, the valve features class
H insulation (180°C / 356°F) and is engineered to withstand continuous
thermal and mechanical cycles, making it ideal for systems with frequent
actuation and harsh operating environments. The indirect action
design significantly reduces the power needed to actuate the solenoid,
while still providing high performance at pressures up to 20 bar (290 psi).
Sealing options include EPDM, FKM, or NBR, covering a
broad temperature range: from –30°C to +145°C (–22°F to +293°F)
depending on the compound selected. Female threaded connections are available
in 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1", allowing for flexible
integration into standard piping systems.
The valve is VDE, UL, and IP65
certified, ensuring compliance with leading standards for safety, quality,
and environmental protection.
Technical features:
Thermohydraulic systems, autoclaves, machine tool cooling systems, washing systems, irrigation systems, fire prevention systems, sanitation systems, pressure washers.
ENGINEERED FOR HEAVY-DUTY OPERATION WHERE THE COIL IS HIGHLY STRESSED
The 30 mm coil, built in class H insulation, is designed to withstand continuous cycles, thermal peaks and demanding operating conditions without loss of performance.
HIGH OPENING DIFFERENTIALS WITH LARGE ORIFICE PASSAGE
The pilot-operated system handles significant pressure differences even with enlarged flow sections, maintaining a smooth and stable response.
LOW SOLENOID POWER WITH HIGH OPERATING PRESSURES
Thanks to the indirect action principle, the valve operates efficiently even at high pressures, requiring minimal power to activate the solenoid.
