How does the Fast Lock mechanism work? Within the inner diameter of the pipe that needs to be connected, a stainless steel bush is inserted, equipped with an AST (anti-pipe extrusion) groove. On the pipe's outer diameter, the components are arranged in order: the nut, the ogive, and the sealing O-ring. The pipe is then fully inserted into its designated seat on the fitting's body. Tightening the nut to the specified torque for each pipe ensures the ogive shifts until it rests against the end of the fitting body, thus pushing the O-ring into its sealing position. The tightening of the nut causes the ogive to deform, marking the external diameter of the pipe at the AST groove and deforming the pipe to snugly fit against the groove. This method guarantees the pressure seal of the connection, with the ogive's deformation and the AST groove on the bush ensuring the secure retention of the pipe in the solenoid valve body.
Each fitting in the 39000 Series is constructed from premium materials. The body and components are made of yellow brass, coupled with an AISI 303 stainless steel bush with an AST groove, and an OLAB certified HNBR O.Ring. The maximum operational pressure is 52 bar (753 psi), with a service temperature range from -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to +302°F).
