SAFECAP
(XK09323-B) is the
high-performance charging fitting developed by OLAB for professional
A3–A2L high-pressure refrigeration systems. Made from precision-machined brass,
it features a 45° conical seat cap with dual HNBR seals, 100%
PFAS-FREE and certified by OLAB, ensuring exceptional sealing integrity even
under extreme operating conditions.
The hexagonal
cap allows for quick and secure tightening using a standard wrench,
enabling safe system recharging and, above all, perfect resealing without
leaks, thanks to the double-seal configuration—one at the top and
one at the bottom. The seals are designed to withstand the thermal,
mechanical, and chemical stresses typical of A3–A2L refrigerants, guaranteeing
long-lasting performance.
Each component undergoes 100% helium testing in a
dedicated facility. Laser marking of the date and serial number
certifies that the product has passed inspection and allows lifetime
traceability of the performance data recorded during the test.

part of OLAB’s 100% PFAS-FREE COMPONENTS range. It operates reliably up
to 120 bar (1740 psi) and within a temperature range of –40°C to +150°C
(–40°F to +302°F). It is the ideal solution for professionals seeking safety,

Products equipped with HNBR seals must not be installed on systems using HCFCs (R22) or any refrigerants mixed with mineral oils or alkylbenzene lubricants.
Our HNBR compound seals have been specifically designed and manufactured for compatibility with A3 and A2L refrigerant gases (as defined in ASHRAE Standard 34). However, due to the countless variables involved in real-world applications—such as pressure, temperature, and mixing ratios—an application-specific validation on the system is always required.
