Category: A3-A2L SPECIALIST
Notes:
OLAB Series 40000 is the safety valve engineered for professional A3–A2L refrigeration systems, designed to ensure long-term calibration
stability, sealing reliability, and mechanical integrity even under extreme
thermal and pressure stress.
The valve body is made of yellow brass, with a treated
steel spring and a PTFE sealing element, chosen specifically for its
chemical resistance and anti-adhesive properties. This prevents the sealing
surface from sticking to the seat, preserving the factory-set calibration
over time and ensuring constant safety performance throughout the valve’s life
cycle.
Once the set pressure is calibrated, the adjustment ring
is locked in place using a low-viscosity, high-strength threadlocker,
which penetrates the threads and prevents any accidental loosening or
misalignment. For additional protection, the valve is mechanically sealed
with a crimped closure cap, ensuring tamper-proof integrity and
preventing unauthorized adjustment.
To guarantee total reliability, each unit is 100% helium
tested in OLAB’s advanced testing facility. The laser-marked date and
serial number certify that the valve has passed its individual pressure
test and provide lifetime traceability of its performance data.
Series 40000 is part of the OLAB LOW-PFAS IMPACT
COMPONENTS range and is certified according to UL 207, making it the
ideal choice for refrigeration systems where safety, sustainability, and
performance are non-negotiable.
Technical features:
COMPATIBLE A3–A2L REFRIGERANT GASES
HFC, HFO, and HFO/HFC blends: R404A, R407C, R410A, R507, R32, R134a (up to +125°C / 257°F).
HFO and HFO/HFC blends: R1234ze, R448A, R449A, R450A, R452A, R1234yf.
HC: R290, R600, R600a.
Products equipped with HNBR seals must not be installed on systems using HCFCs (R22) or any refrigerants mixed with mineral oils or alkylbenzene lubricants.
Our HNBR compound seals have been specifically designed and manufactured for compatibility with A3 and A2L refrigerant gases (as defined in ASHRAE Standard 34). However, due to the countless variables involved in real-world applications—such as pressure, temperature, and mixing ratios—an application-specific validation on the system is always required.
LONG-LASTING
RELIABILITY
The PTFE sealing
element prevents sticking to the valve seat, ensuring calibration stability
over time—even under thermal and mechanical stress.
SECURE
CALIBRATION LOCK
Once calibrated,
the adjustment ring is locked in place using a low-viscosity, high-strength
threadlocker, which penetrates the threads and prevents any unintentional
movement.
TAMPER-PROOF
CLOSURE
The valve is sealed
with a closure cap, mechanically crimped to ensure maximum security and tamper
resistance.
100% HELIUM TESTED
Each unit is individually tested in a state-of-the-art helium facility. Date and serial number are engraved to certify compliance and allow full traceability of recorded performance data.
