OLAB Safecap is the high-performance ball valve engineered for professional refrigeration systems running on CO2 (R744), combining maximum safety, rapid installation and sustainable design. At its core lies an exclusive body spin-locking process that eliminates all structural welds, removing the mechanical and thermal stresses they normally impose on sealing elements. Paired with the FastLock CO2 connection, this solution enables swift, clean and fully reliable installation, significantly cutting assembly time and operating costs.  

Every potential leakage point is protected by dual O-Rings in 100 % PFAS-FREE EPDM, OLAB-certified and fitted into the valve body, the operating stem and the integrated charging-port cap, delivering superior protection and a rapid, hermetic seal even under extreme conditions. To reinforce overall reliability, the brass stem cover cap incorporates an additional PTFE gasket, preserving tightness even if the internal stem seals are accidentally damaged.
 

The operating stem in AISI 303 stainless steel ensures long-term durability, corrosion resistance and stable performance under severe mechanical or environmental stress. Thanks to its compact footprint, Safecap integrates seamlessly into complex plants or cramped technical spaces without compromising accessibility or functionality.
 

Each valve undergoes individual 100 % helium testing and is permanently marked with date and serial number, providing full traceability of performance data over time. Designed for continuous operation at 140 bar (2,030 psi) across a –50 °C to +150 °C (–58 °F to +302 °F) temperature range, OLAB Safecap meets UL 207 certification and sets a new benchmark for safety, reliability and innovation in CO2 refrigeration.
