The OLAB Series Revolution (Patent Pending) is a revolutionary OT58 brass manually operated flanged ball valve for R744 (CO2) that addresses all the issues associated with traditional ball valves with weld or threaded ODS connections, ideal for high-pressure operation (130 BAR / 1885 psi guaranteed).

The valve body of the Series Revolution is entirely made of OT58 brass and is weld-free. The closure is achieved through a series of Class A2 stainless steel screws that are threaded into the body through the flange seats. The perfect seal between these two components is ensured by a pair of OLAB certified HNBR O.Rings placed in housing chambers designed to be anti-extrusion for the seals.

Without the need for TIG welding to close the valve body, the OLAB Series Revolution does not suffer from issues of damage to elastomeric gaskets and seats due to possible overheating of materials, nor from those arising from brass-to-brass welding, which could lead to cracks and subsequent leaks. The external flanges can be easily disassembled, and the connection pipes can be safely welded before reassembling the flanges. This feature also allows for the interchangeability of flanges to modify the connection type of the device without having to change the entire valve.

A significant advantage of the Series Revolution ball valves is the simplicity in replacing the valve body. Welding is only required during the first installation. When the product reaches the end of its life cycle, the Class A2 stainless steel screws that connect the valve body to the external flanges, which remain welded to the system, can be easily unscrewed. Once the old body is removed, a new body can be inserted in its place and effortlessly screwed back onto the existing external flanges, without the need for additional welding or alterations to the system. This replacement does not require specialized personnel, pipe cutting, or additional welds. This process takes only a few minutes and results in significant time and cost savings, with an added guarantee of safety.

However, OLAB's innovation does not stop here. We have thoroughly considered every aspect. While traditional end-of-life products need to be completely discarded, leading to waste and pollution, the replaced Series Revolution valves can be returned to OLAB for refurbishment. Here, the internal components can be replaced at a fraction of the cost of a new valve, saving both money and the environment.
