Technical Data Sheet

The Series 18501K is the ideal solution for professional hydraulic systems requiring maximum corrosion resistance and high compatibility with food-grade fluids. This is a 2/2-way normally open solenoid valve with indirect acting system, entirely made of AISI 304 stainless steel—both the body and the sleeve—ensuring long-term durability, chemical resistance, and full hygiene, even in aggressive environments or potable water applications.

Thanks to its pilot-operated mechanism and large internal flow orifices, the valve can efficiently manage high flow rates and significant pressure differentials, maintaining smooth and stable operation while keeping energy consumption low. The 30 mm coil (8000BH), with a 14 mm inner diameter and class H insulation (180°C / 356°F), is engineered to withstand high thermal loads and continuous cycles, delivering reliable performance even under demanding conditions.

The inspectable design facilitates maintenance without requiring complete system disassembly, minimizing downtime and operational complexity.
The sealing elements, available in NBR, EPDM, or FKM, allow the valve to adapt to various application needs, covering a wide temperature range from –30°C to +145°C (–22°F to +293°F) depending on the selected compound. The product is fully compliant with VDE, UL, IP65, and NSF COMPONENT certifications, offering complete protection from dust and moisture and ensuring adherence to international food-contact safety standards. Offered with female threaded ports in 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1", the Series 18501K is highly versatile in assembly and integration, with a maximum working pressure of 25 bar (362 psi).
A robust, certified, and professional-grade solution—perfect for the most demanding environments.

SUITABLE FOR FOOD CONTACT
Manufactured entirely with food-grade compliant materials, this valve is ideal for all applications involving direct contact with fluids intended for human consumption.

FULLY MADE OF AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL
Both the valve body and sleeve are constructed entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring excellent hygiene, durability, and suitability for the most demanding applications in the water and food industries.

MAXIMUM RESISTANCE IN CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENTS AND WIDE FLUID COMPATIBILITY
The stainless steel structure offers outstanding corrosion resistance, making the valve suitable for aggressive atmospheres, chemical agents, and challenging operating conditions.

IP65 PROTECTION CLASS
Designed to operate reliably in dusty or humid industrial environments, the IP65 rating ensures full protection against external contaminants, maintaining optimal performance over time.

ENGINEERED FOR HEAVY-DUTY OPERATION WHERE THE COIL IS HIGHLY STRESSED
The 30 mm coil, built with class H insulation (180°C / 356°F), is optimized to withstand high temperatures and frequent duty cycles, ensuring lasting efficiency even in harsh operating scenarios.

HIGH OPENING DIFFERENTIALS WITH LARGE ORIFICE DIAMETERS
The indirect acting system allows the valve to handle substantial flow rates and significant pressure differentials with enhanced stability, even with oversized internal passages.

LOW SOLENOID POWER REQUIREMENT UNDER HIGH PRESSURE CONDITIONS
Thanks to its pilot-operated design, the valve remains efficient at pressures up to 25 bar (362 psi), requiring only minimal power for actuation, which contributes to reduced energy consumption.
