Category: INDIRECT AND MIXED ACTION SOLENOID VALVES
Ways: 2/2
Notes:
The Series 18001K is a 2/2-way normally closed
solenoid valve with indirect acting system, specifically designed for
applications requiring maximum reliability, corrosion resistance,
and stable performance under demanding operating conditions.
The entire
structure is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, including the sleeve
with laser-welded fixed core, ensuring high mechanical strength and long-term
sealing integrity, even in aggressive or humid environments. The pilot-operated design allows the valve to handle high
pressure differentials and large orifice diameters, delivering
smooth and responsive actuation.
The 30 mm coil (8000BH), built in class
H insulation, withstands continuous operation at temperatures up to 180°C
(356°F), making it ideal for systems exposed to intensive cycles, thermal
peaks, and constant activation. Upon request, the valve is also
available with a manual override, enabling quick intervention even
during power outages or emergencies.
The sealing system is available in NBR, EPDM,
or FKM, allowing compatibility with a wide range of fluids and thermal
requirements. The operating temperature range depends on the selected
compound: NBR from –20°C to +90°C (–4°F to +194°F), FKM from –15°C to
+150°C (+5°F to +302°F), EPDM from –30°C to +145°C (–22°F to +293°F).
The valve supports a maximum operating pressure (PS) of 20 bar (290 psi).
The IP65 protection rating ensures safe and reliable performance even in
dusty, wet or splash-prone environments.
The Series 18001K is fully inspectable,
allowing internal maintenance without removing the valve from the system,
simplifying service operations and reducing downtime. It is certified VDE,
UL, and NSF COMPONENT, guaranteeing full compliance with
international standards for electrical safety, product quality,
and potable water and food-grade applications.
Technical features:
DESIGNED FOR HEAVY-DUTY OPERATION WHERE THE COIL IS HIGHLY STRESSED
Developed for installations subject to high thermal and mechanical stress, the coil ensures continuous, reliable performance even under prolonged activation cycles and severe ambient conditions.
MAXIMUM STRENGTH – SLEEVE IN AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL WITH WELDED FIXED CORE
The stainless steel sleeve with laser-welded fixed core guarantees structural rigidity, long-term sealing integrity, and corrosion resistance in critical environments.
HIGH OPENING DIFFERENTIALS WITH LARGE ORIFICE DIAMETERS
The indirect acting design enables the valve to handle high pressure differentials, even with oversized flow sections, ensuring stable and responsive actuation.
LOW SOLENOID POWER REQUIREMENT UNDER HIGH PRESSURE CONDITIONS
The pilot-operated mechanism allows the valve to operate efficiently at elevated pressures while minimizing the power required to energize the solenoid.
