Revolution
(Patent Pending) is OLAB’s 2-way flanged CW614N-OT58 brass ball valve, specifically
engineered for CO2 (R744) transcritical systems and nominated for Innovation
of the Year at the ATMO Summit America 2023.
It was designed to replace traditional welded or threaded
ODS solutions without compromise, delivering a stronger, safer, and more
efficient structure.
The valve body is fully machined from
high-precision brass with no structural welds. Assembly is performed
using A2 stainless steel screws, directly fastened into the internal
flange seats. The ball is made of chrome-plated brass.
The sealing system features dual OLAB-certified HNBR
O-Rings, 100% PFAS-FREE—the same materials awarded Innovation of
the Year at ATMOSummit Europe 2024. The O-Ring chambers are
specifically designed to prevent extrusion, even under heavy-duty
cycles, ensuring a permanent, verifiable seal.
Installation is quick and thermal-stress-free.
AISI 304 stainless steel flanges are welded to the system only once, while the valve body is mounted
mechanically, without any welding. This design eliminates direct
heat exposure near the O-Rings, preserving their chemical and elastic
properties over time.
For maintenance or replacement, the central body can be
removed and reinstalled without cutting pipes, without welding, and without
specialized personnel. A clean, mechanical, and safe operation that minimizes
downtime.
At the end of its service life, the valve body can be regenerated
by OLAB, following a sustainable and cost-effective industrial logic.
Series Revolution is CE, UL 207 certified, with a working
pressure of 60 bar (870 psi) and a safety factor of 3 (tested up to 180
bar / 2610 psi). The temperature range spans –50°C to +150°C (–58°F to
+302°F).
Available in DN sizes from 12 to 50 mm (3/8”–2 1/8”),
Series Revolution is a smart, durable, and environmentally conscious

The entire component qualifies as a LOW-PFAS IMPACT COMPONENT,
thanks to the exclusive use of 100% PFAS-FREE OLAB-certified HNBR O-Rings.

Products equipped with HNBR seals must not be installed on systems using HCFCs (R22) or any refrigerants mixed with mineral oils or alkylbenzene lubricants.
Our HNBR compound seals have been specifically designed and manufactured for compatibility with A3 and A2L refrigerant gases (as defined in ASHRAE Standard 34). However, due to the countless variables involved in real-world applications—such as pressure, temperature, and mixing ratios—an application-specific validation on the system is always required.
